ARTFX+ Statuen - X-MEN (Marvel Now! Collection)

MARVEL NOW!
X-MEN
~ ARTFX+ SERIES ~

[Bild: eipnyqgl.jpg]

CYCLOPS

Kotobukiya’s hit line of Marvel Comics’ Avengers ARTFX+ Statues paved the way for the next incredible comic-based series in this great scale, the X-Men of Marvel Now! In 2012 the comic book company relaunched several titles, shifting some characters into different books and updating some for a modern audience. More than anything, it provided a perfect jumping on point for new readers. Now the characters are brought to life as never before based on concept artwork by superstar artist Adi Granov, who was also responsible for the Avengers series. Starting the X-Men off right is of course the team leader and longtime mutant champion, CYCLOPS!

cott Summers was one of the original five teenaged X-Men who trained with Professor Xavier, and ever since he’s led X-Men as they fight for the survival of mutants everywhere. Cyclops was so named for his monocular ruby quartz visor that he flipped open to unleash powerful optic blasts against his opponents. In his Marvel Now! appearance, though, Summers has a bold new design and look. Following his interaction with the Phoenix Force in AvX (Avengers vs. X-Men) Cyclops wears a new, darker costume befitting his renegade status. The X-Man stands poised to unleash an optic blast at his enemies, stepping forward threateningly with his fists raised. His Marvel Now! look consists of a nearly full body dark suit with all sorts of cool details, a belt with X-symbol buckle and pouches, and more. Replacing the classic horizontal, rectangular visor is a striking new “X” across Cyclops’ face which looks amazing in this presentation!

Sculpted by the same master artist who did the Marvel Now! Avengers series, Junosuke Abe, Cyclops stands just under 8 inches tall (in the ARTFX+ 1/10th scale) on his included magnetic display base. Start your Marvel Now! X-Men collection with this champion of mutant rights and look for the rest of his team coming soon!

EMMA FROST

Kotobukiya’s hit line of Marvel Comics’ Avengers ARTFX+ Statues paved the way for the next incredible comic-based series in this great scale, the X-Men of Marvel Now! In 2012 the comic book company relaunched several titles, shifting some characters into different books and updating some for a modern audience. More than anything, it provided a perfect jumping on point for new readers. Now the characters are brought to life as never before based on concept artwork by superstar artist Adi Granov, who was also responsible for the Avengers series. Following after team leader Cyclops is the White Queen herself, EMMA FROST!

One of the most popular mutants ever, Emma is a powerful telepath who can also transform into a diamond form. Frost has had a 35 year history with the X-Men, starting out as their enemy and ending up one of their most passionate leaders. Always preferring bold and sexy in her costume choices, the former White Queen stepped things up even further with her Marvel Now! appearance that’s captured in this dynamic presentation. The mutant stands with her feet apart for balance, pointing one hand toward you while the other is poised by her head to help focus her tremendous telepathic abilities. Emma wears a very distinctive (and revealing) costume consisting of thigh high boots, gloves, a one piece bodysuit with an extreme cut out, a wide belt, and a long flowing cape with attached sleeves, collar, and armored shoulder pads! The dark black and metallic gray of her outfit contrast amazingly with her pale skin tone, blonde hair, and the bright color accents of the red “X” designs on her shoulders, blue eyes, and smoldering red lips.

Sculpted by the same master artist who did the Marvel Now! Avengers series, Junosuke Abe, Emma Frost stands over 7.5 inches tall (in the ARTFX+ 1/10th scale) on her included magnetic display base. Join the telepathic mutant with previously released Cyclops (sold separately) and the rest of the X-Men team coming soon!

ROGUE

A KOTOBUKIYA Japanese import! Kotobukiya’s series of Marvel Comics ARTFX+ Statues continues with the latest mutant hero in the Marvel Now lineup that has been taking the world by storm. In 2012 the comic book company relaunched several titles, shifting some characters into different books and updating some for a modern audience. More than anything, it provided a perfect jumping on point for new readers. Now the characters are brought to life as never before based on concept artwork by superstar artist Adi Granov, who was also responsible for the preceding Avengers series. Joining previously released Cyclops, Emma Frost, Magneto, Magik, and Beast is the fan-favorite ROGUE!

The power-absorbing mutant has never looked better, and now Rogue adds a striking dash of green to the Marvel Now X-Men series with this fantastic new ARTFX+ presentation. Born Anna Marie in Mississippi, the young girl’s mutant powers first manifested during a kiss with her childhood boyfriend. Suddenly she found herself absorbing his life energy, and subsequently ran away, taking the nickname “Rogue” in the process. When touching a mutant, she absorbs powers in addition to memories and skills, making her incredibly powerful and incredibly dangerous. During her early career she battled the current Ms. Marvel and seemingly absorbed her flight and super strength permanently. In the Marvel Now era Rogue got a new look celebrated here as she tightens her gloves for combat. The mutant heroine stands in a cocky pose with one leg arched forward, her body shifted to the side as she looks directly at the threat with an expression on her face that says she’s totally unafraid. Rogue wears bright green pants, a jacket in a slightly darker shade with white piping, thigh high black boots, and white gloves. Her smile radiates her strength and spirit beneath her unique brown and white hair.

Sculpted by the same master artist who did the Marvel Now! Avengers series, Junnosuke Abe, Rogue stands over 7 ½ inches tall (in the ARTFX+ 1/10th scale) with magnets in her feet to provide perfect stability on her included display base. The beautiful and powerful Rogue will make a great centerpiece in your display and the perfect addition to your Marvel Now X-Men collection!

BEAST

He joins the likes of leader Cyclops as well as other mutants Emma Frost, Magneto, and Magik.

Covered in blue fur, beautifully detailed on this 5 1/10-inch tall statue, Hank McCoy is a mutant with one of the more noticeable mutations. However, he doesn’t let that stop him from being a world authority on biochemistry and genetics, a doctor, and a political activist.

Crouching down, he fits in perfectly with the other X-Men statues, just as he’s supposed to. His curled fingers and body language are wonderfully depicted here, making it a truly remarkable statue.

This statue is based on an illustration by Adi Granov and shows Beast wearing black and yellow spandex shorts and a growl on his face – you can never accuse him of being anything less than passionate.

MAGIK

A Kotobukiya Japanese import! Kotobukiya’s hit line of Marvel Comics Avengers ARTFX+ Statues paved the way for the next incredible comic-based series in this great scale, the X-Men of Marvel Now! Joining previously released Cyclops, Emma Frost, and Magneto is the team’s teleporter and sorceress Magik!

Magik was introduced in Marvel Comics in 1975, but back then she was just Illyana Rasputin, the kid sister of Piotr Rasputin (better known as Colossus). Illyana is a mutant as well with the power to teleport herself and others. As if that wasn’t cool enough, she also became a powerful sorceress thanks to her connection to Limbo and wields the mighty Soulsword! Magik takes her place among Cyclops’ team of fearless X-Men with a stunning new look, standing at attention and letting her massive sword do the talking. She is posed dynamically with her feet spread apart, her hands laid on top of the pommel of her Soulsword stuck into the ground before her. The eldritch mutant wears a unique costume consisting of thigh high leather boots, short shorts, a halter top with armored shoulders, armbands, and gloves. Her highly detailed sculpt brings out all of the cool little elements of her clothing like the buckles on her footwear, the spikes and armored fingers of her left arm, and the shafts extending from hair. Magik’s costume is almost all black with silver accents and the red “X” on her shoulder, all of which contrasts nicely with her pale skin, blonde hair, and solid white eyes. Meanwhile, her Soulsword radiates with an intense yellow energy.

Sculpted by the same master artist who did the Marvel Now! Avengers series, Junosuke Abe, Magik stands over 7.5 inches tall (in the ARTFX+ 1/10th scale) on her included magnetic display base. Illyana and her Soulsword look great on their own and will be the perfect centerpiece to your Marvel Now X-Men collection!

RE: X-Men - ARTFX+ Statuen

RE: X-Men - ARTFX+ Statuen

RE: Emma Frost - ARTFX+ Statue
Bin gespannt. Sie und 2/3 andere des Teams wären die Ausnahme, die ich mir aus dem 1/10er Bereich noch zulegen würde. Und auf den ersten Blick könnte sie was werden.
