Dreams that mutilate the forests and lands where weird spirits dwell, reborn as castles, swords and blackened ramparts that bite into the edge of the world until there is nothing left to eat.

Yet in all their plans and dreams, they never could have guessed the lasting thirst of the Gin-Wog‘s blade. Never have they known the furious will of one who no longer skulks in the folklore shadows as hags, gnomes and kobolds have! The Gin-Wog has chosen not to disappear into the aether of the strange beyond, like its brethren, but to enter the world of men and battle in exquisite savagery until they are gone!"

Oakland-based artist Skinner is recognized for his vivid, psychedelic and otherworldly art - an agile mix of horror, humour, sci-fi and fantasy. His highly detailed line work, skillful blend of color and composition, make his art amongst the coolest, raddest ever.

Mostly focused on his personal work, Skinner has done some cool commercial gigs with Warner Bros, Vans, Adult Swim, Fender guitars, Heavy Metal magazine, Juxtapoz, Kidrobot, Quentin Tarantino, Grammy winning metal band Mastodon and many more.

Skinner's work is all about color, energy, and intricate linework, and translating that from 2D analog art into a fully realized 3D statue is one of the hardest things we do.

The collectibles industry is built around paint that mimics materials: leather, metal, wood, skin. That's the superhero and pop culture playbook. Skinner's universe doesn't live there. His palette, his line density, his raw visual energy required a completely different approach to color and paint application, and our painters delivered.

The result feels, unmistakably, like a Skinner piece. That's always the goal. That's always the hardest part.
