Polystoned - the art of collecting

ARH wird ein Conan Diorama im Scale 1/4 releasen. Diese Dio wird Conan im Kampf mit einer Schlange zeigen.
Auch wenn es noch keine Teaserbilder von ARH gibt, eröffne ich hier schon mal einen Thread dafür.

Vor einigen Tagen wurden diese Zeilen von Arahom im Sideshow Collector Forum gepostet:

"I have been working for the past couple of months on our new CONAN statue diorama, and I can only say, this is the MOST bold statue we ever made! I cannot show you guys pictures yet since we are still waiting for licensor’s approval, but I can just give you a hint...
“Conan The Sacrifice” - A 1/4th scale diorama with Conan fighting a gigantic snake with a big axe to save the girl!” This will be epic!"

Zwischenzeitlich gibt es Neuigkeiten von ARH:

"Just got to see the ARH Studios Conan
The snake itself is being constructed and is 8 ft long [coiled] from head to tail with open mouth and frightful venomous fangs.
Conan is truly awesome, big with perfect muscularity and symmetry, with two Axes, one Reg and one Ex.
The base is big, with a column and skulls of the poor souls that have been eaten by the snake and are inside the rubble!
There is a delicious slave girl, hips round and voluptuously perfect curves with a broken sword with a frighten and terrified look on her face.
She is chained to the column an in shackles.
Heads are being completed by one of the best Troy Mc D
Not much else I can say but save for this! It's spectacular! Arahoms best work to date"

das tönt doch schon sehr vielversprechend. 2 Aexte, Riesenschlange...endlich Conan !

Das könnte ja fast schon eine zweite "Medusa" werden . Tolle Info, da freue ich mich schon auf die ersten Bilder. Wenn das wirklich so ein Brecher wie die Medusa wird - dann noch mit Conan - ist das ein Must-Have für mich!

Ich bin auch sehr gespannt! Wir sollten schauen, dass wir da immer auf dem laufenden sind. Ich könnte mir vorstellen, dass die Ex eine sehr kleine ES hat. Die ist dann schneller ausverkauft als man gucken kann...

Wenn die Bilder demnächst nur annähernd an die Beschreibung herankommen Dan ist das sowas von gekauft

Ich bin da auch schon sehr auf Bilder gespannt ... wenn sie nur annähernd so geil aussieht wie im Text beschrieben dann wird sie für mich auch ein must have sein

Also da werfen sich ja einige Fragen auf...

Zuerst mal, ist das einzige "Extra" der Exclusive Edition eine "zweite" Axt ???

Als zweites, ist auf dem wohl "riesigen Diorama" vielleicht noch ein "Mauerfragment"
und eine (stand ja im Text) angekettete Sklavin mit einem abgebrochenen Schwert in der Hand ???

Und als drittes, für mich die "verblüffendste Frage", wie bekommen die (selbst zusammengerollt)
eine fast 2,44 m lange Schlange (entspricht den angegebenen "8 ft long") auf dem Dio zusätzlich
zu zwei 1/4 Scale Figuren unter ???

...außer die Schlange ist so "dünn" wie ein Regenwurm !!!

Das Teil wäre schon in 1/6 scale Bahnbrechend, aber in 1/4 ist das ja schon "ein fünftel Wohnzimmer" !!!

Und dann muss wohl für die Anschaffung auch wieder eine Postleitzahl als Preis herhalten...

Wenn Mr.McDevitt mit an Bord ist wird es wieder spektakulär. Einer der besten Modellierer unserer Zeit. Da bin ich aber jetzt auch gespannt auf die ersten Bilder.

ARH Alex hat vor einigen Momenten im ARH Forum Folgendes gepostet:

Das treibt die Erwartungen wohl noch höher.

Das sind natürlich große Worte und ja, seit 2 min liegen meine Erwartungen noch höher und wenn ich mir den besch.... Sideshow Conan als PF anschaue, liegen meine Erwartungen einer gelungenen Conan-Statue sowieso ausschliesslich bei ARH.
