Sideshow is thrilled to unveil an all-new Premium Art Print in our DC Comics Versus Series – Batman vs Bane by artist Dave Wilkins!
This epic depiction of a true battle royale has been commissioned exclusively for Sideshow. Each limited edition print is hand-signed by artist Dave Wilkins and features an embossed seal of authenticity.
Raised in the hellish prison of Pena Duro, the man known as Bane overcame all of his life’s many hardships and obstacles to become a feared and respected criminal overlord. A man forged from his own indomitable will, Bane is one of Batman’s most dangerous adversaries. Combining a genius intellect and unshakeable resolve with monstrous drug enhanced strength, he has proven to be the Dark Knight’s equal on several occasions, even earning the ominous title of “The Man Who Broke the Bat”.




Continuing our tradition of pairing high-end limited edition art prints with our collectible sculptural work, this new addition to our DC Comics Versus Series takes its inspiration from our Batman figure as well as the upcoming Bane Premium Format Figure. ABOUT THE ARTIST

Dave Wilkins’ first encounter with fantasy art was Frazetta’s Death Dealer; that was the first spark. With a steady diet of Marvel Comics, Godzilla movies, and inspiration from iconic artists like Simon Bisley and Frank Miller, the path was set. Working odd jobs over the years, and drawing in his spare time, Dave’s first professional work didn’t come until his late 20’s. Working as a bouncer in Southern California, he took a second job at Kinkos to have access to a computer. After hours and during lunch breaks, he taught himself Photoshop, scanned drawings, and learned to color and render. Opportunity struck when a rep from Midway Entertainment saw Dave’s work up on the monitors, and a month later, he was working in the gaming industry! He currently works as an art director in video games. In his “spare time,” he works with DC Comics, Dark Horse Comics, IDW, Marvel, Heavy Metal Magazine, Warner Brothers Entertainment, Capcom and more.
