"I am hearing similar reports from other distributor throughout Europe. But those that ordered directly from the Sideshow website have not yet received any cancellations. So it seems that Sideshow is screwing one over on all retailers by only releasing reproductions in their own store.
This is still speculation as there has been no official statement, but if this is the case, the big question is why on earth did they open it up for wholesale order in the first place!?

I'm going to wait a bit longer to hopefully get some definitive answers, but more than likely we're going to have to cancel your preorder for the statue. Any done payments will be transferred to other preorders or your shop account as store credit, or they can be transferred back to you if you prefer.

Ausrede von Sideshow?
Ich kann mir ehrlich gesagt, nicht vorstellen, das die zuwenig Bestellungen für den Obi reinbekommen haben...schräge Nummer von SSC...[/b]

Finde das auch eine sehr komische Aussage. So wie der sich im Preis entwickelt hat, wird doch jeder Shop den geordert haben.

Jo, alleine 220 Shops in Europa, das wären bei (mutmaßlichen) ca. 1250 Stck, 4-5 Obis pro Shop, und es kommen ja noch die weltweit
restlichen Shops und Sideshow Direktbesteller dazu...

Mal schauen ob jetzt auch alle Waitlist Kandidaten, Absagen bekommen und ob gar nichts mehr produziert wird...

Und falls die restliche Auflage wirklich nicht mehr kommt, würde ich eher auf ein Veto von Lucasfilm/Disney tippen, als das die Nachfrage schwächelt!

Und damit das blitzblanke heile Welt Disney Image, nicht beschmutzt wird, schiebt SSC andere Gründe vor...

Der Restauflagen-Obi ist nicht gecancelt und wird via Sideshow rauskommen!

Das ist echt saumäßig von Sideshow, und ich durfte 13 Leuten deswegen vor den Kopf stoßen, tolle Sache (und aus meinem eigenen wird auch nix).
Also von wegen zu wenig geodert usw..

Nur machen kann man dagegen gar nix :(

Wir haben vom Lieferanten/Hersteller die Info erhalten, das keine weitere Auflage der Ben Kenobi Mythos Statue produziert wird. Gründe dafür liegen in den neuen Lizenzrechten bei DISNEY.
Alle Vorbestellungen werden daher ersatzlos gestrichen.

Kann man sich denn noch auf die Sideshow WL setzen lassen, nach eigener Aussage von Sideshow die Tage, soll die Restauflage ja doch noch über SSC direkt kommen?
(unabhängig von der FistCo Aussage, aber Sideshow Alex dürfte wohl näher an den Infos sitzen...)

Mach es mit der Waitlist. Habe ich auch getan. Kostet ja nix.

Habe letzte Woche auch von fistco die Mail bekommen. Hab mich dann auf die Waitlist gesetzt, hoffe das klappt noch mit den Kenobi. Ist aber schon ein Witz was sideshow da abzieht...
