"XM Studios is excited to present our next 1:4 scale MARVEL Premium Collectibles series statue, The Thing. Each painstakingly handcrafted statue is individually hand-painted with XM’s famous quality finish, and comes in a bold, dynamic, and story-laden style.

The Thing is seen in battle mode, standing on a destroyed Fantastic Four spaceship and ready to throw a punch. His rock appearance is made up of rocks of various sizes with smaller rocks at joints, neck, and face. XM Team used rock formation to create his anatomy, resulting in a realistic and clearly defined musculature. The interplay between shadows and highlights define the crevices, further accentuating the realistic rocky skin texture. Decked in Fantastic Four’s iconic blue uniform design, XM Team modernized the shorts with textured panels and added piping details on the edge and down the side.

The Thing comes in 2 head sculpts – one displaying a smirking, confident look, and one displaying a raging battle mode. Collectors can choose to display it either as a standalone piece or with Super Skrull to depict a dynamic mid-battle scene. During the prototyping process, XM gathered feedback from the community on the sizing and have made adjustments to produce it slightly larger. With the adjustments in place, XM has also retain the intended retail price for collectors."

Ich bin ja normal kein Freund von XM Figuren bzw. richtigerweise gesagt XM Bases ... aber Ben hier gefällt mir sehr gut, so wie auch bedingt der Super Skrull.

Der Preis ist zu hoch aber ich denke nicht das XM auf dem sitzen bleibt. Es wurde bereits der Rest des Teams angekündigt.

Ich glaube auch nicht, dass XM den nicht absetzten kann, trotzdem finde ich das mittlerweile krank, was da betrieben wird ... und damit meine ich nicht nur XM.

Da gebe ich Dir absolut recht.
Ich wollte mir die neue Sideshow Psylocke holen aber 800 Euro gebe ich dafür nicht aus.
XM Samurai Red Hood habe ich storniert. 1250 Euro war der mir dann doch nicht Wert.
Prime 1 Vampirella und Jill Valentine würden mir gefallen aber für die Preise dürfen sie die Statuen auch behalten.
Da finde ich die Preise für Angelus und Aphrodite noch im Rahmen.

Ja, gibt noch ein paar Sachen, die noch im Rahmen liegen. Da ich HdR Sammler bin darf ich mich eigentlich gar nicht beschweren, denn Weta ist ja noch schlimmer mit den horrenden Preisen als manch andere Firma.

Mir gefällt die Sideshow PF nach wie vor besser... allein der Gesichtsausdruck dort ist schöner. Allerdings ist die hier näher am Comic.

Ich glaube ich warte einfach noch ein bisschen ab.
Momentan bin ich irgendwie nicht gewillt, diese Summe ohne Weiteres auszugeben.
Ob XM den ohne Probleme abverkauft, glaube ich auch nicht. Wenn ich mir so angucke, was bei XM-Händlern weltweit alles lieferbar ist, wird das meiner Meinung nach auch nicht so schnell eintreffen.
