Falls es dem ein oder anden entgangen sein sollte - morgen erscheint die neue und letzte Staffel von Clone Wars auf Bluray und DVD.
Meine wurde gestern bereits verschickt und ich hoffe, dass ich heute bereits 1,2 Folgen schauen kann.

Dave Filoni hat übrigens in einem Interview angekündigt, dass die bereits für Staffel 6 produzierten Folgen (wurde nach der Disney-Übernahme ja eingestellt) im nächsten Jahr noch veröffentlicht werden.

den Knaller finde ich aber mal wieder das man nun alle 5 Staffeln für lediglich 99,99 € bekommt. Noch vor ein paar Wochen habe ich für meinen Junior, der bisher nur die erste Staffel hatte, Staffel 2,3 und 4 gekauft. Die 3 Staffeln haben mehr gekostet als jetzt alle 5 zusammen.....grrrrrrrrr. kommt davon wenn man zu ungeduldig ist.

Geht mir genauso, muss ich aber noch schauen da ich noch auf Blu Ray Star Trek TNG Staffel 4 und auf DVD American Horror Story Staffel 1 sehen muss. Und dann kommt ja auch im November auf Blu Ray Walking Dead Staffel 3 heraus. Was für ein Seriensehstress.

Ja, die Serie wurde während der Produktion der 6. Staffel von Disney eingestellt.
Das Team fing dann mit der Produktion von SW Rebels an.
Die bereits produzierten Folgen für Staffel 6 sollen nächstes Jahr in irgendeiner Form veröffentlicht werden.

Disney hat wohlmöglich eine auf Darth Vader basierte TV Ausstrahlung geplant. Was genau dahinter steckt, ist aber noch nicht bekannt.

Star Wars: Episode VII has a new writing team: J.J. Abrams and Lawrence Kasdan. The pair takes over on the script from Michael Arndt (Little Miss Sunshine, Toy Story 3), who was announced as the screenwriter of the sequel a year ago.

As per StarWars.com, Kasdan and Abrams “have assumed screenwriting duties for the film.” Kasdan, who co-wrote The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi, had been serving as a consultant on Episode VII. Abrams, of course, is also directing the film. (Kasdan has also been rumored to be working on one of the standalone films set in the Star Wars world.)

"I am very excited about the story we have in place and thrilled to have Larry and J.J. working on the script," says Lucasfilm President Kathleen Kennedy in the company’s announcement. "There are very few people who fundamentally understand the way a Star Wars story works like Larry, and it is nothing short of incredible to have him even more deeply involved in its return to the big screen. J.J. of course is an incredible storyteller in his own right. Michael Arndt has done a terrific job bringing us to this point and we have an amazing filmmaking and design team in place already prepping for production."

The story adds that location scouting, production design, casting, and costume design are already underway on the film for a Spring 2014 shoot at Pinewood Studios and an “expected” 2015 release. “Expected”?

It’s unclear how much (if any) of Arndt’s script will be utilized by Abrams and Kasdan, but it seems unlikely that this is just a polish. A studio wouldn’t announce its two biggest names associated with a project for such a thing… which raises the question: If Star Wars: Episode VII is getting a serious rewrite, how do-able are those production start and release dates?

Wer hat den The Clone Wars bis zum Ende der Staffel 5 durchgezogen?
Ist das wenigstens anständig beendet worden, oder hört das einfach so im nichts auf?
Richtigerweise sollte es ja ca. mit dem Beginn von ROTS enden, so wie die ursprüngliche Clone Wars Serie...

Geht ja noch weiter. Staffel 5 sind ja nur 2 Scheiben und wer so viel Geld dafür ausgibt könnte sich ärgern. Kommen imo noch 16 Folgen.
